Peter and Andrew

Talking of milestones, this year saw Andrew 11 start a new school—the big change to a large Secondary school was daunting but has been a great deal less stressful than anticipated. He’s joined Peter 14 at Great Marlow which makes the school run nice and easy. Peter continues to enjoy school life even though he’s started taking GCSE exams and undergoing assessments (much earlier than we did in the old days!).

Both the boys (still) love playing computer games, with Minecraft being the hit of the year—they play online with friends from school. Peter has just installed Portal 2—we will have to wait to see if this surpasses previous games on the ‘must play’ list. What’s good about both these is that they can be played cooperatively with two or more players/characters working closely together to achieve their goals.

Other interests for Peter are Doctor Who (no change there then), making short videos (now has his own YouTube channel), being prolific on Facebook, going to church youth group ‘Base’, and growing fast (definitely taller than Chris). Andrew has also started at Base now he’s old enough, but has yet to start his growth spurt.
