Peter
and Andrew
 Peter
has carried on being part of the school choir (few boys at his school do!) and
will be singing at the Albert Hall again
very soon as part of
a massive Bucks schools Christmas event. This time Andrew
will be in the audience—we’ll have to see if the singing bug bites him too
(but no sign of that being likely). Peter has also kept up learning the guitar
although doesn’t seem to practice much. Another of his skills is very
useful—he usually ‘drives’ the pc at church which displays
the song words, and very good at it he is too. Another hobby he’s
adopted this year is doing magic tricks—he’s always trying to invent new
ones or searching YouTube for some quick and free lessons. Another sideline of his is eating pasta, usually managing to put away
more than his parents (must be a growing lad). Andrew is a lad of simple tastes
both in terms of food and his interests. The online worlds of RuneScape and
Club
Penguin are regular destinations, and the Wii and his Gameboy both get frequent
hammering. He’s still not bothered about sport or even learning to ride a
bike; plenty of time for those sorts of things as he gets older of course. He
enjoys helping his Mum look after the hamsters; he ensures that all his cuddly
toys get a fair share of attention at bedtime; he’s a natural at Maths; and he
loves babies. An interesting young lad!
They
get on together as well as they ever did and still share a bedroom—probably
they’d hate not to. They can carry on with that arrangement for a while yet as
we are planning to extend the house next year, which will include making their
room a bit bigger. We’re hoping in the current climate that we will get some
very competitive builder’s quotes!
