There have been many changes at school for both Peter and Andrew. Teachers have come and gone: babies having been born and knees having been operated on (twice!). Peter continues to enjoy school life without having to work too hard. Andrew finds all the changes difficult but has once again settled down into a new academic year after a few weeks of not being quite sure about a lot of things.

Andrew, as you can see, is also thin but not so tall. We continue to celebrate the differences between them. One loves maths, one loves English - in fact they might be able to do each others homework soon, which would save us all some time at weekends. Andrew and his friend Thomas get on really well and enjoy doing loads of things together. They are even allowed to collaborate on some school work—they are so good for each other. We regularly have Thomas here for tea and vice versa and it’s lovely to see them being such good friends together.

Andrew is not that keen on sport—’do I have to?’—being the usual response to ‘let’s go to the park’. He usually enjoys it though when he gets there, and would probably be good at things like cricket if he could overcome his initial reluctance to doing something new. With his build he could be a handy long distance runner one day! He still loves his Gameboy and computer games and is also very keen on board games. He likes things like draughts and chess because of their rules-based nature. We dug out an ancient Monopoly set recently and both Andrew and Peter were scarily keen on the buying, selling and accumulation of money that the game involves.
