Holiday was foreign again, this time to La Vendée. Andrew LOVED the two ferry journeys and in fact this was (as last year) the highlight for him. And Peter once again ADORED being able to go swimming in the site pool every day – well more accurately he loved the two water slides there (Tim quite enjoyed them too). Whereas last year we got wet, this time the weather was ‘superbe’: it hadn't rained for 4 months! We went to a wonderful "tree adventure" park twice, which was packed with hours-worth of aerial fun (for the boys, not Chris: she was official photographer), and a 'paddle your own canoe' trip amongst other things.

Other  In June, sort of for Tim’s birthday, we bought a boat—a 3.1m Zodiac Fastroller inflatable with a small outboard motor—and have had some great fun on sunny Sunday afternoons pootling up or down the Thames.
