has
more than filled up the time freed by Andrew being at school by taking on an
admin job for an organisation called ‘Equipped To Lead’ which our church
supports: let’s just say that her organisational skills
are proving invaluable. Of course Steady Eddie and Batman need regular attention
– oh didn’t you know, we got two guinea pigs in the summer. Guess who named
them. She is still part of the church leadership team, the music group and the
Valley News editorial team. Also we both help plan and run a monthly ‘multimedia’
family service at the Marlow Bottom Methodist church which draws in about 10
families, where Tim plays guitar, leads the singing and operates the drum
machine (yes, at the same time), and Chris often practices her story-telling
technique.
Tim I said last year that I was looking for a
change at BT, and sure enough in August moved into a
different role, responsible for sales of Cisco equipment through the
SME part of
BT Retail. Well, I was until this week when it’s all change again because of a
"re-focus" of what the team of which I’m a part does. So back to not
being quite sure what I’m supposed to be doing. Sigh. No international trips
either this year L.
