How are you? Fit and well we hope, and getting ready for a peaceful time over Christmas (once you’ve completed the not-usually-at-all-relaxing preparations). Peter (5 on 2nd Dec) is certainly starting to get excited, now he’s finally finished opening all his birthday presents, but Andrew (2½ on 9 Nov) is still too young to know exactly what’s happening - though no doubt he'll soon catch on!

For us the year’s been pretty hard work; Tim’s job has been just as bad as ever in terms of too many hours and energy spent struggling to do more than one person’s workload (and to think he said in our letter last December it might change!), and Chris has at times found that the relentless demands of looking after two small people (and Tim of course) exhausting on top of everything else for which she is responsible. But we’re still smiling and having fun together, and we’re thankful for good health, good friends and a great God. For more about what we’ve been up to, please read on…
