We hope that this letter finds you in good health and enjoying the prospect of some relaxation over the holiday period; and that 2001 has been a good year for you. For us there have been times of great fun, but it's had its difficult aspects too. The best bits have usually involved Peter and Andrew - Andrew, now 19 months, is turning into a human tape recorder with instant playback of new words and songs becoming his speciality. He seems to have 'inherited' Peter's love of trains and cars, and spends many a happy hour pushing them round track or floor, complete with sound effects. Peter (just turned four) is as much into Thomas the Tank as ever he was last year, to the extent that he is often to be seen walking along with hands and arms doing their best impression of a steam loco's pistons in action. Andrew frequently follows him doing exactly the same, and even supplying the chuffing sound. They still get on really well (on the whole!) and Peter's learnt to share his toys with his little brother - even with brand new birthday presents.
