Hi, I’m Peter and I’m 13 years old.
I’m in year 8 at Great Marlow School and I am enjoying it (as much
as you can enjoy school anywayJ). When I moved from
Primary to
Secondary school most of my best friends went to a different school,
but I have made lots of new friends - some not even in any of my
classes!
When I started at
GMS I thought I was going to get lost loads, because of all the
rooms for different lessons, but I picked it up pretty quickly and I
haven’t got lost once! My favourite lessons are Drama, History (we
have a great teacher who is really fun and, like me, likes Doctor
Who!), Science and French.
Anyway, more recently I got a
Facebook account and I
definitely, definitely don’t spend all my time on it (and that is
the truth). Some of you might have heard about my
Tardis Console,
which is almost finished although it will never really be finishedJ.
You can watch some videos of it
here and a short film my friend and
I made with it here.
On our 2010 summer holiday at 7 o’clock
one night we
were looking at what was on TV, and my parents said we should check
out a show called
Star Trek Voyager. They said they grew up with it
and they said it was good, also we had recently seen the new Star
Trek movie, so we watched it. We enjoyed it so much we watched it every day
for the whole two week holiday! But when we got home we found out we
couldn’t get the channel it was showing on, so we were quite sad. But
then my Dad found someone was giving away the full ST:Voyager
series on video, FOR FREE!!!! (because they were video tapes not
DVDs), and we went round and brought them home. We have been
watching them since and (at 3/1/11) have got to series three out of seven. In
total we got 81 videos which take up a few shelves in a cupboard. We also watched some of the original series episodes in the
mornings over the holidays and have seen the first four Star Trek movies.
I am a bit of a computer wiz
(though I say so myself) and I can finish computer games
really quickly. I am also really good at a game called
solitaire and
I can complete it (end up with the final ball in the middle) quite
quickly. Click here to see for yourself!
I am in a Christian youth group called
Base which is REALLY fun. We
have something called Cell almost every Wednesday and once a month
is something called Baseix. We go to
River Church every Sunday, and
Base is the 11-14’s group in River.
