Andrew
was born in 2000 and is quite different to his big brother. He likes things to be done in a familiar way,
appreciates structure, enjoys numbers and can get very upset if
things aren't done the way he wants.
He really loves computer games,
especially
Combat Flight Simulator on the PC. Andrew says "I love
Playcrafter too, and my rank is a Journeyer". He puts his
keyboard skills to great use though in operating the laptop at
church from which the song words are projected, and does a fine job
of it too – and it needs a fair degree of concentration! He’s great pals
with classmate Thomas – they walk to school together (no parents
allowed) every day, and are always clamouring to go round to each
other’s house after school or at weekends.
Andrew enjoys finding out about things and will usually have a large
non-fiction library book which he carries in his bag every
day ‘in case I want to read it at school’.
Favourite TV programmes include
Bear Behaving Badly,
Star Trek Voyager and all of the
Tracy Beaker series. He plays really well with Peter (most of
the time – when he’s not on the Wii or computer).
Recent Wii games include
Doctor Who: Return to Earth;
Pokepark:
Pikachu’s Adventure,
Pokemon Rumble and (his latest favourite)
Toy Story 3.
